2024 Johnson Family Reunion Information
July 19-21, 2024

 

●     Family Reunion Costs

 $75 for adults (15 years old & up)

 $45 for children/young teens (7 years old to 14 years old)

 Children 6 and under $5

 T-shirts are included in Reunion costs

Friday night:  Relaxing with the Family {5 p.m. to 9 p.m.}

Friday night is a time to unwind and bask in the fellowship and love of family.  After registering and unpacking, we will meet at the Miccosukee Community Center for an evening of fun and relaxation with our family.

 

We will have an old-time fish fry with all the fixings.  We will also stimulate your togetherness with exciting family games and activities.  We have an introductory murder mystery for you to solve and Bible trivia for you to show your Bible Study and Sunday learnings.

 

Saturday- Mingling, dining, socializing with family

The Hotel has breakfast accommodations for all guests; so get up and enjoy a delicious breakfast to start your day.

 

Business Session @ 11 a.m.:  The Family will meet Saturday morning at the Miccosukee Community Center to conduct Reunion Business.

 

Following the business period, we will enjoy a family cookout without the work.  

Come ready to enjoy the summertime favorite of the South --- a bar-b-que with the works.  The children will have an opportunity to burn off stored energy as they play various games and enjoy a Bounce House.  

 

Remembering Our History:  Keeping our family legacy alive, a Digital Slide Presentation of ancestors & family.  Please share photos & brief information about persons.  Send photos to email: dijohnson50@yahoo.com or text to (229) 558-0406 no later than May 1, 2024, if you wish to have your family included in the Presentation.

 

Fun & Games:  The adults will have challenging games to stimulate their body, mind, and spirit.  Come ready to have fun!!!  You are as young as you feel!

 

Around 6 p.m., we are extending an opportunity for you to mingle & hang out with family at a “Black & White” Affair at the Miccosukee Community Center.  Plan to wear something black and/or white and enjoy music and hors d’oeuvres. 

 

We want you up early, ready to continue another family tradition --- 
                  Sunday Worship Service together.

 

Sunday Morning:  Praise and Worship Service / Sunday Supper

Worship service with the Friendship M.B. Church Family.  This will be an opportunity to walk the sacred grounds that many of our parents and grandparents walked.

 

Sunday School {for those who have not been since childhood –exciting memories} --- 9:45 a.m.

Worship Service:  11 a.m.

 

Following Church Service, we will meet once again at the Miccosukee Community Center for a farewell dinner and hugs and kisses before heading home.  We will eat around 1:30 p.m.

 

After dinner, blessings, hugs, kisses, and best wishes as we departure to our respective destinations.

Drive around the curve to Rodenberry Road -- bear right –pass a white church on right 

Travel appropriately 2 miles – Turn right to enter Church Road {look for balloons}

Continue short distance down Lane until you see the Church
